Adherence to TB treatment is crucial for therapeutic success, particularly in children who often face challenges in taking medication regularly. One effort to improve adherence is through education using audiovisual media.

Objective: To determine the effect of video-based education on medication adherence in children diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Method: This study used a descriptive case study approach involving one school-aged child with pulmonary TB who exhibited non-adherence. The intervention consisted of video education accessed via YouTube for three consecutive days. Data collection methods included interviews, observation, physical examination, and nursing documentation.

Result: After three days of video education intervention, the child’s adherence improved. Initially, the child resisted medication and frequently became upset, but after watching the educational video with their parents, the child began to take the medication willingly.

Conclusion: Video-based education is effective in improving medication adherence in children with TB. Educational videos can serve as an engaging and accessible alternative for health promotion, easily accepted by both children and their families.
2025-09-30T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ilham Nugraha, Andan Firmansyah, Dedi Supriadihttps://journal.inspira.or.id/index.php/kian/article/view/522The Relationship between Knowledge and Attitudes of Reproductive Organs Among Students 2025-07-21T13:35:18+08:00Dika Rhousnakadikabackup222@gmail.comHelda Herdiani Putrihelda123@gmail.comLita Rizki Meilanilitarm22@gmail.comNada Rahadatul Aisynra12@gmail.comPutri Anissa AzharaPutrianissazhr@gmail.com
Background: Adolescence is a critical developmental phase involving physical and psychological changes, particularly in reproductive health. However, many adolescents lack adequate knowledge and hold negative attitudes due to limited education, cultural taboos, and discomfort discussing reproductive issues. These gaps may lead to poor hygiene practices and increased health risks.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between students’ level of knowledge and their attitudes toward reproductive organ hygiene.

Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted at SMPN 1 Ciamis between March 10–15, 2025, involving 33 female students. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire consisting of 25 true/false items for knowledge and 25 Likert-scale items for attitudes. Instrument validity was assessed using Pearson correlation, while reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha (knowledge = 0.619; attitude = 0.514). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi-square test (p < 0.05).

Result: The majority of respondents had moderate to good knowledge of reproductive organ hygiene. However, the Chi-square analysis revealed no significant correlation between knowledge and attitudes (p = 0.897). Students with higher knowledge did not consistently show more positive attitudes.

Conclusion: The findings indicate that knowledge alone is insufficient to shape students’ attitudes toward reproductive health. Educational programs should integrate emotional, cultural, and social components to effectively influence adolescent attitudes and behaviors. A comprehensive, participatory approach is essential to support healthier adolescent development.
2025-09-30T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Dika Rhousnaka, Helda Herdiani Putri, Lita Rizki Meilani, Nada Rahadatul Aisy, Putri Anissa Azharahttps://journal.inspira.or.id/index.php/kian/article/view/609Effect of Warm Compress on Neck Pain Scale Reduction in CKD Patients with Hypertension2025-07-30T14:34:52+08:00Miftakhulidayanti Hajjandian.kartikasari1989@gmail.comDian Kartikasaridian.kartikasari1989@gmail.comEny Kusumarinidian.kartikasari1989@gmail.com
Introduction: Hypertension can result in kidney failure if not treated promptly and is frequently a chronic condition. Common symptoms include headaches, dizziness, and neck pain. Applying warm compresses to the neck may help alleviate pain for patients with hypertension.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of warm compresses in reducing pain levels among chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with hypertension in Sulaiman Room 6 at Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang Hospital.

Methods: This research is a descriptive study with a case study approach method. The subject used was 1 person with the criteria of hypertensive patients with systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg, composmentis, pain scale 4-6, and no neck injuries.

Results: The results indicated that the pain level in the neck before applying the warm compress was moderate, rated on a scale of 5. After using a warm compress for three sessions of 15 minutes each, the pain level decreased to a scale of 2, which is classified as mild.

Conclusion: The application of warm compresses on the neck effectively reduces the head pain scale of hypertensive patients.
2025-09-30T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Miftakhulidayanti Hajjan, Dian Kartikasari, Eny Kusumarinihttps://journal.inspira.or.id/index.php/kian/article/view/563Implementation Of Autogenic Relaxation Techniques to Reduce Pain Scale in Patients With Abdominal Colic2025-07-21T15:12:03+08:00Aziizah Nuur Fauziyyahazizahnurfauziah6@gmail.comAde Fitrianiadefitriani879@gmail.comAyu Endang Purwatiayuendang86@gmail.com
Background: Abdominal colic brings up symptoms of pain that arise and disappear that can interfere with patient comfort, abdominal colic pain is usually accompanied by changes in pulse because the pain is very painful, and causes patients to pay less attention to the conditions around them because patients focus mainly on pain.
