Introduction: Work-related fatigue is one of the occupational safety and health risks that can affect workers’ concentration, alertness, and response capabilities, particularly among shift workers who are at risk of sleep disturbances and insufficient recovery time.

Objective: This activity aimed to identify fatigue levels among shift workers and provide education on managing fatigue in the workplace.

Method: This community service activity employed a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 30 shift workers at PT X. Fatigue was measured using the Lakassidaya L77 Reaction Timer, with reaction times from the 6th to the 15th measurement. The activity began with a fatigue assessment on April 20, 2026, followed by education on rest, sleep quality, hydration, nutrition, stretching, and power naps. A follow-up assessment was conducted on May 11, 2026. Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing reaction times and fatigue level categories.

Result: The initial examination results showed that 13 workers (43.33%) had normal fatigue levels, 10 workers (33.33%) experienced mild fatigue, and 7 workers (23.33%) experienced moderate fatigue. In the follow-up examination, 24 workers (80.00%) were in the normal category and 6 workers (20.00%) experienced mild fatigue; no workers were in the moderate or severe fatigue categories. The average reaction time decreased from 298.57 ms to 227.93 ms.

Conclusion: The integration of fatigue assessments and education was followed by changes in the distribution of fatigue levels and a decrease in average reaction times at the follow-up assessment. Periodic assessments, ongoing education, and follow-up can be part of implementing fatigue management for shift workers.
